very pleased with our studio unit. the Murphy bed is comfortable. love the view from our balcony, walkable access to restaurants & stores. Took the Train to Anaheim - so convenient! enjoyed the hot tub after a long day. Very friendly staff. wonderful to have weekly calendar schedule with activities in the 3rd floor lounge. so glad you have a elevator!
Our first time staying here and hopefully not the last. Everything was great! Super friendly staff, a cozy but comfortable room (305) with a nice view of the beach (307 would have been a little better view-wise). Our studio room had a great kitchenette. Hard to think of anything negative to say. This is our new go to spot for a short vacation!
We are still completely taken back by how wonderful our experience at San Clemente Cove has been. I was literally in tears upon arrival! Seeing the view for the first time was that overwhelming and beautiful. The beach alone would have been enough, but what truly makes this place special is how much there is to enjoy beyond it. There are so many activities nearby, and the amenities on site are thoughtful and generous.Easy access to beach chairs and towels, a barbecue grill, jacuzzi, sauna, and even board games (which came in clutch on the one day it rained). The staff has been incredibly helpful and kind, the rooms are absolutely beautiful, and everything feels well cared for. We feel so lucky to be here..and even happier knowing we still have a few days left to soak it all in. This place is truly special. 10/10.
The parking garage has very low clearance- if you have a high profile vehicle you have to find public parking. This was not easy on a very busy weekend. Property was nice, location was amazing, staff was very friendly.
Loved the location and ocean views! Only negative was the WiFi didn’t work in the bedroom only in the living room. But was strong enough for zoom meetings. Friendly staff and large and spacious apt.
The location is superb, right next to the beach. The resort is lovely - architecturally interesting and well designed. Our studio was spacious, very clean, and everything in it worked. And the balcony with the sea view was perfect. Also the hotel offers beach equipment - chairs, toys etc. at no charge. Plus, the parking in the hotel garage is a massive bonus. Minuses: The room can be a bit noisy due to proximity to the public parking, but that's to be expected at the location. Also, the hotel does not have air con which was not an issue during our October stay but I can see how it could be in the warmer months.
Best beach location in socal. Best sunsets. Onsite parking included. Clean and well maintained property. Awesome and attentive staff. Close to restaurants, beach, and pier. Such a great place to unwind and enjoy not too busy beach vibes.
Our room didn't have a good view of the ocean and staff showed 3 available rooms from which we could choose. We got a room with a better view. We needed a meat thermometer which isn't usually supplied and they found one for us. Great place, staff and service. We've stayed there many times over the years. Restaurant and Oyster Bar across the street on the pier have the best food and Sunset specials. Pizza from the place just below the resort have the best pizza!
